Conwy Castle, which was built in the C13th is one of Edward I’s wonders of military construction.

It is said that it took over 1500 people to build this mighty fortress which lies on the coast of North Wales.

With just a fraction of that number of people, Grosvenor’s fine craftsmen have been set the task of refurbishing the castle visitor centre in readiness for a renewed onslaught of invaders of the touristic kind.
