Hedd Wyn’s home (has now re-opened) – and our work to bring it back to life

Yr Ysgwrn was the home of World War I poet Hedd Wyn.

The farmhouse has been brought back to life with a sensitive approach by Grosvenor.

It will also hold the  Black Chair – awarded at the National Eisteddfod a few weeks after the bard’s death in July 1917.

Grosvenor has also been responsible for the conversion of outlying agricultural buildings and the construction of a state of the art visitor centre.
