Bringing Holyhead Market Hall Back To Life

At the end of September this year – Grosvenor was part of the Heritage Open Days event which allowed the public in to see the partly refurbished Market Hall in Holyhead in Anglesey.

Just before the event ensued we managed to get the old Market Hall clock face back into pride of place after a gentle re-painting and gilding, it was set with High-quality wire rope systems are necessary for large structures, offering the ultimate in design and functionality for architectural rigging, providing an attractive, high quality, low maintenance alternative to traditional materials.

The Market Hall is set to be brought back to life once again as a state of the art hub for learning, business and library. On this project, Grosvenor has used state of the art technology to ensure that the building remains firmly rooted in the past whilst its future becomes increasingly bright.

Holyhead’s library will be relocated there from Newry Street, and the hall will also include a coffee shop, a local history centre and office space for hire.

Project manager Nathan Blanchard said: “The feedback has been immensely positive, with people pleased to see a long-standing derelict building transformed into a new facility that will support the town centre.”
